How does Aida work?

Aida is a digital tool that uses Generative AI to create social media posts bespoke for your business. Aida is designed to make the entire post for you based on what it knows about your business - a post includes a visual, caption text and hashtags. You can edit a post if you want to and then Aida will post it out for you to your business pages on the social networks - such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Who is Aida for?

Aida is designed for small to medium businesses, it uses AI to fill the time/skills gap SMEs find when they are busy running a business but also need to advertise on social media.
Any business type in any industry can use Aida to generate their posts. If your customers use social media then Aida can help your business.

Is Aida totally automated?

Aida is an AI Social Media posting assistant, designed to massively speed up and optimise a SME's ability to post to their social accounts, it is partly automated but it will never post anything out that you have not approved.
It can do 80% - 90% of the work but having a human in the loop is important to make sure you are happy that nothing that can damage your business or reputation is ever posted out without your knowledge. 

I am an independent consultant, can I use Aida?

Yes, Aida can create the posts for you as a self employed individual such as a sole trader or independent consultant. As long as you have a business page for yourself as a self employed person on the social networks then Aida can post for you.

Can I use Aida on a mobile?

Not at the moment. Aida is designed for a desktop and it is best to use Aida on your desktop computer. We will roll-out support for mobile in the future.

Can Aida make video or Reels for my social posts?

Aida cannot make video (as of September 24) but this is planned in our Product Roadmap. We expect to fully support AI generated video in the future and allow users to upload their own videos to post. What languages can I make posts in?

Aida can make posts for you in any language you like, just choose the language you want to post in from The BrandBrain - Post settings.

How do I sign up?

New users can sign up at www.aida.social 
If you are a new user enter your email and you will receive a confirm email link in your email inbox, check your Spam if you don’t see it. Clicking the link in the email will confirm your email address and create your user account in Aida.
You will be taken to the pricing plans page and you must choose a plan to proceed, but don’t worry as most of our plans have a free 14 day trial so you can try Aida first before you buy.

How do I log in?

For existing users who want to log in, you will find the log in button in the top menu here www.aida.social 

How do I connect Aida to my social platforms?

Aida will need to be connected to your social platforms before it can post out, so you need to do a one-off process to establish this connection in Connections in Aida.

Please note Aida can only post to business accounts on the social platforms and cannot and will not post to your private social media accounts. You must be the admin of the business page to set up this connection.

I have already connected my social accounts but Aida does not show my connections anymore

This is because after a period of time the connection between Aida and the social platforms will lapse, this happens every few months and you will need to reauthorise. This means you will need to set-up the Connections again, this is quite annoying but is a security feature of the platforms to make sure all connections are actively used and connected to an actual person.

Adding team members

To add team members to your brand, go to the Teams page and simply add new users by writing in their email address and hit Send.
Teams is a function that is available to users of the Teams and Pro plans.

Add another brand

To add another brand you will need to be on the Team or Pro plan. Upgrading can be done through My account

What platforms can I post to?

Aida currently posts to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn (as of September 2024). We are working to get Aida to post to X formerly Twitter, Pinterest, Google MyBusiness, TikTok and Threads.

How do I generate posts?

This can be done in 3 ways.
1) Create a post for one day
Make a post - if you have an idea for a post and want to just make one post on this topic you can use this function.

2) Create posts for many days over a set period of time
Make a plan - use this function to create content for a defined period - a month, 14 days, a week or whatever you define.

3) Create a post from your website address
Post from url - if you have an article posted on your website, a product page or similar you can add the url (website address of the page) here and Aida will generate a social post for you. Aida can’t add your images automatically from your website, so you will have to download and upload these yourself if you want them.

Edit post

To edit any post you can click on the green pencil icon at the bottom of any unconfirmed post in the calendar.
Here you can change the image by either uploading your own, using the free stock library photos or generating a new image using AI. You can also change the text and hashtags.
If you have uploaded your logo in the BrandBrain it will be available for you to add to your images here.

Once you are happy with the way your post looks, click save. Please note it will not be posted out until you connect Aida to your Social media accounts (see guide here on connecting to your social platforms) and confirm it is ok for Aida to post it. Remember - Aida will never post anything without your approval.

How do I cancel my free trial

If you are taking a free trial and do not wish to start a paid subscription you must cancel before the 14 day free trial is up. 
To cancel go to Your account in Aida and then Manage my subscription. A new window will open, and you will be prompted to Log in to manage your account - make sure the email is the same as the one you use with Aida.
A confirm link will be sent to your email, remember to check your Spam if you don’t see it. Click on the link in the email and you will be logged in to the Customer Portal managed by industry standard billing solution Stripe. Here you can do all your account management and end the free trial before the first payment is taken.
